Autumn Insights: Warden's Update
Fall is in full swing at St. Luke’s, and it’s been a joyful and busy season! We’ve celebrated an amazing Craft Fair and a wonderful Shrine Mont retreat. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped plan, volunteer, or participate in these events.
Our Christian Education Ministry is thriving, with 54 children registered for the 2025–26 year! We are so grateful for the leadership of Ara Stephens and Laura Moss, who have stepped into their new roles with enthusiasm and creativity. We also extend deep thanks to Courtney Jukuri for her faithful leadership. Sunday School is back in session, and it’s a joy to see our children learning, singing, and growing together each week.’
On the facilities front, we’re thrilled to share that the steeple repair, ceiling repainting, and electrical work have all been completed! Rachel DeMarco has been hard at work prioritizing long-term HVAC needs and replacement cost projections to help us plan responsibly for the future. Meanwhile, the ABG Group continues to expand, and CRISP is focusing on project goals for 2026—exciting progress all around!
And of course, it wouldn’t be fall without our Pumpkin Patch! The patch is a highlight of our community outreach, but it depends entirely on volunteers. With no J2A group this year, we need all the helping hands we can get. Please sign up for a shift if you’re able—your help truly makes a difference!
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any member of the Vestry.
