Sunday School Offerings 

During the 9-10am "Educational Hour"

Children in Pre K and Elementary begin in the Choir Room (room 20) on the second floor

Children aged 3- kindergarten will move to the "Atrium" in Room 31 and their Montessori based curriculum "Catechesis of the Good Shepherd" will be led by Chris McFarlane. Click here to learn more about the curriculum. 

Elementary aged children (grades 1-5) will be separated into two classes and follow the weekly lectionary. Grades 1-3 will be led by Micah Brown in the "Oxen" class located on the 2nd floor in room 21. Grades 3-5 will be led by Blair Sokol in the "Lion" class on the 3rd floor in room 31. Middle School students (grades 6-8) will be led by Hilary Harding and Lou DeMarco on the 3rd floor in room 33. This class will be completing Year 2 of the Rite 13 curriculum. The two years of Rite 13 focus on recognizing the gifts God has given us, celebrating our creative potential, and learning to interact as a community of faith. High School does not meet during the "Educational Hour" but instead gathers in Father Nick's office following the 11am Sunday Service. Focusing on building community, this group spends time discussing the lectionary and engaging with each other. 

Nursery is offered weekly for children 3 and under starting at 9am and lasting through the 11am service. The nursery is located on the 2nd floor, off the Parish Hall. 

St Luke's Episcopal Church is a SafeChurch (https://www.episcopalchurch.org/the-undercroft-2/safe-church/). All children's classrooms are staffed by two, unrelated adults that have completed training to protect our children and foster a safe environment.
