St. Luke's Episcopal Church honors the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi (c. 1180–1226), patron saint of animals and the environment, with a yearly Blessing of the Animals service. This year we will bless the animals at our indoor services at 8 and 10 am on Sunday, October 8. After the 10 am service, blessings will be given at the Patch. All pets and their caretakers are invited to attend and celebrate the bond of creation.
