ABOUT ST. LUkE'S

We're located three miles north of George Washington's Mount Vernon and five miles south of Old Town Alexandria, where our founding fathers discussed freedom and revolution. You can find us on the corner of Fort Hunt and Wellington. If this your first visit to St. Luke's, click here for important information.

Saint Luke's is a warm and nurturing church where all are welcome, known, included and loved and where relationships grow. We worship God together, take care of each other and combine our talents, time and treasures to do God's work in our church and community.

The Episcopal Church is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, some 85 million Christians who find their spiritual roots in the Catholic and Protestant traditions.

Feasibility Study Underway!! St. Luke’s is undertaking a feasibility study to learn whether a capital campaign would be successful at this time. The study is being conducted by the Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF). The week of November 12 you will receive a survey from the ECF asking for your opinions about several possible projects for capital improvements to our facilities. We ask that you return your survey to ECF no later than December 7th, 2018 so that we may determine whether a capital campaign would be a success. Click here for the campaign fact sheet and a case study describing the proposed plans. If you have questions about the study, please contact Don Hazen. We appreciate you taking a few minutes to complete and return the survey when it arrives in your email or in your mailbox.
