Singing in a church choir is a wonderful opportunity for children to glorify God through music, to connect with other children in a faith community, to learn about music and how it enhances worship, and to grow in confidence while contributing time and talent to the church. The children’s choir at St. Luke’s performs two productions a year, a Christmas pageant and spring musical, and sings during Sunday worship approximately once a month throughout the choir season, which runs from September until June. The choir meets every Sunday after worship at 11:30-12:15 beginning on Sept. 10th.

The St. Luke’s children’s choir is led by music director Kate Weber-Petrova. In addition to serving as the organist and choir director at St. Luke’s, Kate has fifteen years of experience teaching children music. She loves nurturing their enthusiasm for singing and helping them to grow as musicians. If you’re interested in speaking with Kate or have questions about the children’s choir, please email KateWP@saintlukeschurch.net.
